North Carolina business leaders find themselves at an intriguing moment in the history of artificial intelligence. From its conceptual beginnings in the 1950s through today's rapid developments, AI has progressed through distinct waves of innovation and adoption.
Liberated Leaders, in partnership with key regional institutions including The Chamber of Catawba County, The Economic Development Corporation of Catawba County, Lenoir-Rhyne College of Business and Economics, Appalachian State Walker College of Business, and the Manufacturing Solution Center, is conducting a comprehensive study of how North Carolina businesses are experiencing and responding to these technological shifts.
Our focused small-cohort study (8-12 executives) examines:
Historical context of AI adoption in regional businesses
Current perspectives on AI opportunities and challenges
How organizational decision-making around technology has evolved
The varied approaches businesses are taking to evaluate and integrate AI
